Many makers will try to use less costly hides with inconsistent thickness and texture, moving weak spots and imperfections to less obvious places (underarm, overlap near seams, etc.). These people use very good leather and don't take these shortcuts. 2. Uniform stitching - straight, even sewing across the garment, even with detailed patterns. I bought a complex diamond quilt pattern and all seams were perfect. 3. High quality, stable dyes and well crafted finishes - Whether polished or rusticated, their color work is extremely consistent and professional. All in all - outstanding products and exceptional value. Sizes are also reliable.
